Where we've come from
New Hope Baptist Church was established in 1885, beginning with just 14 charter members meeting in a schoolhouse, which later burned down, directly across the street from the current church property. In 1903 the land the church sits on today was donated by J.J. Williams so that the church could begin building a house of worship across from the schoolhouse. The building was completed and dedicated in 1905. New Hope has remained committed to serving the Mansfield/Rendon/Kennedale communities throughout the years, continuing to follow God's leadership and guidance for the congregation.
Where we are going
In 2010, we celebrate 125 years of serving as a lighthouse in the community God has placed as in. We remain just as committed today to the mission of bringing the gospel and love of Christ to the Mansfield/Rendon/Kennedale communities and ultimately to the world. We continue to seek God's direction for us and will follow wherever he leads. We want to invite you to be a part of the future of New Hope Baptist church.
